Steam Classes

STEAM is incorporated in our Creative Classroom where students engage in challenges that enhance their development of hands-on STEAM learning through CREATIVE and INNOVATIVE lessons & materials.  STEAM lessons encourage children to have fun while creating and exploring.  

Our creative classroom environment promotes interactive lessons, encourages student engagement, fosters student innovation, while also motivating children to learn using a variety of techniques and tools.  

We use an integrated learning approach to Science, Technology, Engineering Art and Math. Students receive episodic STEAM assignments (in approximately 4-week sessions) designed to enhance their learning through creative thinking, innovative modules, and fun explorations. STEAM lessons allow students to have fun and create unique contraptions and devices while learning and exploring.  

Students are encouraged to think outside the box and sometimes color outside the lines! This process can really transform the way students acquire knowledge and how they apply it in real life. We feel this is why our kids art classes, art camps, STEAM Classes and STEAM Camps are so beneficial.   Since our Mission is to INSPIRE THE CREATIVE DEVELOPMENT OF THE WHOLE CHILD, we must embrace Kinesthetic & Interactive Learning in all our Art endeavors. 

As a result, ART CAMP's STEAM program encourages students to think of themselves as designers, creators, and even inventors!
